Our third annual Sing-Along hosted by the Eagles Band was a success! We rescheduled four times due to snow and ice but it was worth the wait!
April and May are big months for The Creston Music Program. Mark your calendars for the following upcoming events.
We hope to see you there!

Use the talents you possess, for the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except the best.

The PTA was gracious enough to purchase 30 new Ukuleles and curricullum for our Music Classroom. Thanks to their efforts all students from 3rd through 5th grade will now learn how to play Ukulele in a fun, enriching and exciting way.
Many of our Creston kids have already learned about it's origins, parts and three chords!
WOW! From all of us at Creston, thank you PTA!
Check out the amazing talents of Ms. Fox's 3 and 4th graders tap production of Annie!
The Creston Eagles had a fantastic day marching in the 82nd Avenue of the Roses Parade on Saturday, April 30th. This historic event is the first Parade that a Marching Band from Creston K-8 has attended to our knowledge. Thank you to the Parents and the PTA for their amazing support in this endeavor. Thank you also to the staff, parents and students who supported the Creston Eagles Band by cheering them on in rehearsal and at the Parade.
K-5 students are busy developing their singing, dancing and drumming skills to some of their favorite songs in preparation for their end of the year Stomp Assembly at 2:00pm on Wednesday, May 25th.
The Creston Eagles Band is on the move, marching in the 82nd Avenue Parade of the Roses on Saturday, April 30th at 9:30am and their Spring concert on Wednesday May 25th at 6:30pm.
Ms. Fox's students are preparing for their annual tap show on the evening of Wednesday, June 1st. This year's selection is one of my favorite Musicals, Annie. It's going to be great!
Finally, starting with a new group of students for our last quarter, the Integrated Arts classroom content will include a continuation of musical theory with emphasis on learning basis piano techniques. In addition, one of our classes will also focus of creating a visual photo show essay to honor eight grade student for the end of the year. This will include photo documentation, editing and creating an Imovie presentation for preservation.
Please, attend and support your Creston students! Hope to see you there!
